Chocolate Fudge Toppings
Celebrate the taste of finest dark chocolate!
Classic Was Our First
History: Our first fat-free, fruit-sweetened chocolate
topping was introduced at the international
IACP (cooking
professionals ) convention in
Seattle in 1986. Julia Child was a featured speaker.
The Dallas Times Herald wrote a full-page story about the
chocolate, which then swept the country on the wire service six times.
Ingredients: Our own select cocoa blends, mixed
with rich concentrated fruit juices and natural flavors.

WHAT THEY SAID:
|
The Seattle Times:
"Wax Orchards, makers of some darn good chocolate sauce for
sundaes, baking and, as often as not, eating right out of the jar; a sauce
that has been the salvation of dieters, diabetics and
chocolate lovers across the country."
Gourmet Magazine: "Heavenly, wholesome hot fudge- a rich yet
non-fat chocolate". Sugar-free, too! "
Prevention Magazine: "classic fudge sauce satisfies deep fudge
yearnings. Luscious"
The Natural Way: "A line of unbelievably rich but virtually
fat-free fudge sauces that will satisfy the cravings of the most craven
chocoholic." This was in their first edition.
The American Diabetes Association: "Guilt-Free Indulgence"
FOR THE HEALTH OF IT: "Recently
cocoa & chocolate products have been identified as a dietary source of
antioxidants called polyphenols." From the trade magazine Functional
Foods and Neutraceuticals . Per the chart below, Wax
Orchards dark chocolate class is at the top of the list, with double the
value of #2. Why are
antioxidants important? Because
they keep our veins and arteries clear of platelets that can clog
them. In many ways they keep our blood vessels
healthy. Wax
Orchards chocolates have the extra healthy advantage of being free of the
added fat that is usually in chocolate products.
